Halloween 2013

Time for me to reveal what I'm going to be for Halloween. 

Yeah…

This Halloween, I don't even know if I'm 'officially' going out because my brother's family is ALL sick - pneumonia. One of my nephews had it, passed it to the other one, sending it to my sister-in-law, and the older brother had a 103 fever. So, I hope everyone is feeling OK enough to go Trick-or-Treating. 

I don't Trick-or-Treat anymore. I go and have fun with my family. 

Where I live is CANDY CENTRAL! If you ever come to my town just in time for Halloween, take the main road because it's so fucking busy - houses are out of candy before 5PM. It's unbelievable how many kids/teens/adults are out Trick-or-Treating on those streets. And they give out the best candies! 

I remember one year when Rebekah and I trick-or-treated the hell out of those streets. We went down every street all the way down to the elementary school. It was amazing! We lost our friends along the way who stopped and went other ways. It was like that for a while. 

Now, I wasn't into Halloween when I was a little kid. According to my mom, I was actually afraid of Halloween. Look at me now, I'm obsessed with Halloween and get so excited for this time of the year. Plus, I wasn't a big candy eater, I still don't eat that much candy. Smarties here and there, Milky Ways here and there. Nothing too much. I space my candy out.

One year, I was still eating my Halloween candy by December while everyone else was out by the next night. 

How about we do a little guessing game of who I'm being for Halloween? I should really call it who I'm cosplaying as now that I'm 20 and I'm an adult. Well, I'm more mature. 

1. It's a he - yes, I'm dressing as a guy. Just in a female version. 





2. He's from a very popular movie that is having a sequel in 2015. 





3. He has bow and arrows (which I don't have). 





4. He's an Avenger. 





5. He was possessed by Loki.





6. Something happened in Budapest. And everyone is wanting to know what - me included. 





7. May have had a thing for The Black Widow.





8. He's been confirmed to be in Avengers: Age of Ultron! 




If you can't get who he is now, you aren't going to get it. I made it obvious by number 3 but number 5 gave it away. 

Yes, I'm being Hawkeye. 

Why?

Because it didn't to come out of my closet and I have a lot of black and purple things stuffed in there. Black pants, black thigh high boots, purple tank or t-shirt, a black vest, a pair of black rimmed sunglasses (or 3D glasses), and/or black leather jacket. 

I'm going with my handy-dandy "leather" jacket that has gotten a lot of wear on it! I love it and I can't get rid of it. But I do need a new one - I guess next fall. 

Anyway, I'm being Hawkeye! I have no idea what my family is being for Halloween, so I hope I don't clash with them. But watch, my luck - one of my nephews is going to be an Avenger like Iron Man or something. 

Why does my costume/cosplay need to come from my closet?

Because I've got no money - only six dollars to my name in singles. So it needed to come out of my closet. As for makeup, I don't wear makeup so probably some BB cream and lipstick/lipgloss - I think I have a dark color lipgloss that was from Claire's. 

You may or may not see a video on Thursday of me in my costume before I leave. My mom has a doctor's appointment so I have basically an hour after she leaves and before she comes home. So, look out for a last minute costume.

Let's chat...

Halloween 2013 - I don't mean trick-or-treating or anything along those lines. Not the decorations, not the God-only-knows amount of candy is purchased in my town to make Halloween fun, not the costumes, not the fun. This is all about the most shittiest movies during the month of October. 

SyFy - You fucking suck this year! I'm not watching you at all! Where are the older SciFi movies I used to watch with my cousin in our other cousins room? Where are the SciFi originals? I don't want to watch feature films the whole month! 

ABC Family - You are fucking slipping! I don't want to watch Addams Family and Hocus Pocus 24/7 for the 13 Nights of Halloween. Where's Harry Potter Weekend? Casper, Casper Meets Wendy? Where are the older movies that I used to watch on the 13 DAYS of Halloween? 

Disney - Monstober? Really? I liked the originals! Monstober sucks again this year! I was just looked up to see what movies are playing and I wouldn't be able to watch them anyway but I saw three movies from when I used to watch Disney Channel. At 2:30 in the FUCKING morning! I mean, come on! We need to show today's youth Under Wraps, Don't Look Under the Bed, and Phantom of the Megaplex! And showing all the FANTASTIC episodes from the best Disney at midnight? I saw Even Stevens there and Lizzie McGuire, come on!

Hallmark - I can't say much but you are slipping too. I didn't see one Halloween themed thing on your schedule! The only thing I know is The Good Witch's Destiny and that's at the end of the month.

The Hub - The only channel who isn't disappointing me! Thank you! I actually have things to watch because of you! 

Disney XD - I can't say anything yet about you but please don't disappoint me. Your AHHHH-tober doesn't start until the 14th, thanks...

Cartoon Network - Please don't disappoint me. Okay?

I don't know about you guys, but I'm watching DVDs during October. Well, I'm already watching DVDs.
