On June 28th, I got my second VoxBox from Influenster.

So, let's get started on what each product is and how it works.

I don't wear heels, so I can't exactly tell you how I think of them. But I did read, I think on Instagram that someone used them in flats and said it works wonders. So, it you don't have heels, just your other shoes and give it the test. I don't need these, so I gave them to my Mom who had bad heels, arches, and balls of her feet. She'll test them for me, I'll get back to you.

The color I got - All The Rage

I got this color on right away, not on my finger nails but I just wanted to swatch it. It's a beautiful and it was on my toes - along with my Mom's toes. Yeah, we were twining...don't remind me. I took it off as off today, it was peeling. I've never had trouble with SinfulColors before - I own like 5 bottles of SinfulColors and nothing has come off, I normally have to use nail polish removal. Now, maybe it's because its called SinfulShine and that it's gel tech. I've never used gel tech or ever had a gel manicure - so I might be using it wrong.

Olay Fresh Effects (BB Cream!) Skin Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 15: $12.99

I got fair/light, which was perfect because that's my skin tone. Thank God! I think they should have a third one, because I don't think light/medium will go with everyone who had tan/black skin tone. 

Here are what the BB cream looks like on my skin and blended in:

It blended in nicely, straight into my skin. Now it does have a scent - it's not over baring or anything. It does have a slight sunblock scent, but it's not bad. This is also coming from a girl who likes the smell of sunblock. 

I haven't used it on my face, tomorrow I'll do it. I'm going out tomorrow and I'll give it a real try.

There are five to a pack, I just happen to wearing the black one in my hair at the time of the picture. Now, this a great hair ties, just... they stretch with your hair. I have baby fine hair, no snagging or pulling but the next day I took it out because throughout the night it did move - the elastic was stretched, but it still works. These work fantastic, they don't slip or fall out throughout the day. I wore it from 9AM-till now. I currently have my hair in a side braid, and it's not moving. Another thing is, the knot is a tad annoying and it doesn't really move and it doesn't lay down.

Closer to the Truth

OK, can we just chat for a moment? 

Last night, I watched the Voice - well, muted all of it. The only reason I watching the Voice was because of my ALL TIME FAVORITE FEMALE ARTIST WAS MAKING HER COMEBACK!! 

The Goddess is back, bitches. The original 'Lady Gaga' is back! 

Cher is back.

So, back to the Voice, it was her first live performance in over 19 years, that was one TV - not like her Vegas show she did for like 5-6 years. It was completely live for those who thought she was completely lip-syncing. It was confirmed by Cher, herself, that it was live - she was nervous and her throat was bothering her. 

Yes, it wasn't her best performance ever. I've watched others, I have her farewell concert on DVD (which makes me think, I need to break that sucker out!) but Cher is THE Goddess. 

This makes me sound completely gay - which I'm not, I'm straight! I just have the occasional female crush... That sounds insane. So, never mind! 

Her last CD came out in 2003 - it's 2013 - it's been a decade. A decade since I've waited for her to come back out of retirement and make her voice known again. This time to a new generation and to the old generation that she's still got it. With her auto-tune, techo, electric greatness! 

The downside... the CD doesn't come out until...

SEPTEMBER!!!!!!!!!

Bekah can say that I may have been a tad crazed after the performance on the Voice. I only had 19 cents to my name in my iTunes account but I preordered the CD anyway and I've been listening to Woman's World since before midnight, last night. It's now a few minutes to 10AM, and I've been up since about 8AM (thank you, Hatter for my 8AM wake up call, I didn't set). 

Closer to the Truth comes out September 24th, 2013!

Writer's Block Fucking Sucks...

Yep, it does. 

It's fucking sucks...

I'm completely bored out of my mind with writing. It's not as fun as it used to be. It's like I'm forcing myself to write and it's not enjoyable. 

I think I need a few weeks to just sit on my bed - movie marathons, TV show marathons, maybe a Harry Potter marathon (ooh, that's sounds good!) - and do nothing. Except I'll do premieres in June. That will be fun! 

I kinda wish Bekah was home (she had a summer course to finish, she won't be back until the end of June :( A whole month without my best friend, what will I do?!) so we could get out, see movies, shop, eat, ANYTHING FOR THAT MATTER! First I need to get my non-driver's ID, need to get on that! 

I am planning on going to Salem, Massachusetts this summer - that if everything with my Mom goes well. She's been quite 'sick' lately. A lot of meds and doctor visits and a lot of blood being taken. I'm trying my hardest to NOT have to go to the doctor unless I need to (next year, tetanus shot! Yikes!).

This post is going all over the place!

Yep, SMASH officially was cancelled and ended last Sunday. I cried, I really did. When Kyle won the Tony and Jimmy made the speech - I teared up. When the ending song happened, I didn't cry until late at night when I realized that SMASH was never coming back, and I had no money in my iTunes account to get the songs (I need like 15 songs, and 99 cents wasn't going to help), at least June is Saturday. 

Tonight is G's final concert for the high school, I can't attend now that I think about it. It was pretty last minute I found out that the concert was this month and that the seniors wanted the original students to come back and sing for him. I can't make it though - too last minute. I'm seriously trying not to cry, knowing that G won't be in the high school anymore when I go over for visits next year. I've cried at night (silently, of course) and it's hard. 

My sleep schedule is completely off - I've been thinking too much. And I mean, TOO MUCH! I'm still up at 1AM, I know I'm a night owl, always have but this is insane! I sleep fine, I get my required hours of sleep a night but I've been thinking too much. 

At one point, I thought about quitting writing.

I'm still considering it.

I want something with my life and writing isn't giving me that anymore. I haven't been having fun with it anymore. It use to be an outlet but now, it's like a job that doesn't have any time off or breaks. 

It's quite hard to happy and I've lost all that right now. I don't know why, I just don't seem myself. 

I've gotten myself on a junk-semi-free diet (not really a diet, I weight the correct amount for my height). I've cut out a lot of snack foods and chips (except Tostitos Scoops, those at too good to pass up and I'm hooked on swiss rolls) but I haven't been wanting anything really unhealthy. With the occasional ice cream bowls I was having during Hell Week but it was Hell Week, I bet everyone pigged out of junk food! 

I swear I'm 20 years of age - but right now I seriously have High School Musical 2 on my TV right now. And... singing to the songs. HEY! I haven't gotten off my bed and started dancing which is pretty good!

A Whovian's Reaction to 'The Name of the Doctor'

So, let's just say I've been a Doctor Who fan since '05, then I stopped when PBS (I'm an American, but I do have BBC America) showing Doctor Who. I don't remember why, and I don't remember if Rose was still the companion when I stopped watching. 

Now, I caught up with every series (the British term for season) so I've watched the ninth, tenth, and eleventh doctor in action. Rose is still my favorite companion and I can't wait for the 50th anniversary special with David Tennant and Billie Piper! 

Big question here - who's my favorite Doctor? Uh, Christopher Eccleston. Yeah. *BOO, HISS* Oh, shut up. I do love David Tennant and Matt Smith. I love them all equally. My Mom posted this thing on FaceBook about Doctor Who and I have it as a pin on my Pinterest.

I'm happy beyond belief to know who the Doctor really is and to have Clara be the first to know. Plus, River's back!!

A Vampire Diaries Fan's Reaction to 'Graduation'

The final of Vampire Diaries in a few minutes, counting down the minutes until the finale. It should be interesting, since all the ghosts are back and its Mystic Falls graduation. FINALLY! I mean, they can't stay in high school forever. 

So, recapping - humanity, humanity, humanity. Oh, and The Originals. That's pretty much what has happened since 4x01. Elena does during her humanity on and I forgot something. The Cure - the allusive Cure - the Cure that will cure a vampire of his/her vampirism, turning them back to a human. I'm going to guess, since according to the books, Damon is going to take the Cure over Rebekah. Rebekah has her own show now. 

Let's see who dies. I'm guess since Bonnie 'died' in last week's episode. I wonder if someone else will die. Don't let it be Matt - he's the only human left that matters!

Supernatural Season Eight Finale - Reaction to 'Sacrifice'

The day has come Supernatural Family. Carry On Wayward Son will be playing in our ears from the moment we wake up to the moment the finale ends. This is actually my first time watching a finale on TV - I started watching Supernatural March of last year and couldn't watch the season seven finale because of Grimm, I think. It was on Friday night's last season. 

So, recapping, Dean and Castiel were in Purgatory for a year while Sam was taking a break from hunting for that year. In the process, Sam found a girl, Amelia (who I hated) and rejected her later on in the season. When Dean gets back, pissed at Sam for not looking for him. The Winchesters went searching for Kevin, finding out they could close the Gates of Hell...forever. As the season went on, Castiel came back but with a new angel named Naomi who changes him. And we found out there's an Angel tablet to co-inside with the Demon Tablet which can close Heaven, according to Metatron (who we finally got to meet in 8x21). Sam is in charge of getting Hell closed, while Cas in charge of getting Heaven closed. Now, Crowley is killing off everyone the Winchesters saved (Jenny, Sarah, Tommy, so far). The Winchesters are up against the King of Hell for, possibly, the last time. 

What will be closed in the end? Will Hell actually get closed? Is Cas going to be able to close Heaven, make the angels more human? What kind of cliffhanger will the fans of Supernatural have to go through until September/October?

Supernatural and Arrow share the same finale name... that's never good, is it?
