The title is a little misleading - I'm not calling my readers dumbasses - I'm calling the dumbass in the white car that sped past us on the way home, through a red light and causing cars to swerve out of the way.
He was at least driving 60-65 on a 40 MPH road.
We were lucky we weren't in an accident with him going that fast and if he didn't move, my mom, me, Bekah, and her mom would be hurt. Me and Bekah more than our parents because stupidly, we weren't wearing our seat belts.
This is a normal thing for us, we don't wear out seat belts when we're in the back of the car. I know, we know it's not a good idea not to wear our seat belts when in the car but we do it a lot. I've been known to do it on many occasions with my own parents in the car.
Whoever that was - we should have reported you.
We should have doing something else to make you lose your license because one, it's illegal to run red lights and two, you could have seriously hurt someone.
I hate people.
But, we're safe and I'm pretty sure our hearts have gone back to normal speed now.
People are complete dumbasses sometimes.
